ED SPELEERS – ACTOR


Ed is a British actor who first came to international attention in 2006 when he was chosen over thousands of other actors for the title role in 20th Century Fox’s Eragon, with Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich and Robert Carlyle. He has since starred in ITV’s prime time series Echo Beach and in television movies Shirasu Jirô for NHK Japan and Witchville for the SyFy Channel, USA. In 2011, Ed starred in A Lonely Place to Die, a feature thriller with Melissa George and Sean Harris, directed by BAFTA nominated director Julian Gilbey. In 2012, Ed appears in the feature Love Bite and has also been cast as a footman named Jimmy in the forthcoming third series of ITV's award-winning Downton Abbey.
